Hey! I know that an update is long overdue, and you guys have asked some questions as well. So that’s what this post is all about! Grab a cup of coffee, and maybe a little snack, because this is going to be a big one!

I’m going to start with an update because I can hardly wait to tell you of the Lord’s goodness! These past few months have produced so much fruit and joy for me. The Lord has begun to paint a beautiful foundation for this next season. As I see desires confirmed and changed, I cannot help but praise the Lord!! My heart is at complete peace as I watch the Lord work.

I am sitting at about $8,000 funded, which just blows my mind. I remember thinking that eight months would take forever to pass by, and now we have just four months until launch. I can hardly wait to meet my squad and take on our most impactful year yet!

Now answer to those questions:

“Where will you be going?”

If I’m honest with you this answer is not completely set in stone. If you look on the Global South Route, you will see 16 countries listed. My team and I will not be going to all 16 of those countries, but instead sticking to the 11in11. On 0ur route there is 4 different regions, South America, South Asia, Southern Africa & East Africa. Each region has a top HUB country, and then opportunity countries. The HUB country is a guaranteed country on our route in which we will receive cultural training, and have a debrief before continuing our ministry. The rest of our route will be made-up of the opportunity countries listed. I will list them all below to give a better visual!

This is an amazing model for a few different reasons. The first is simply that it gives the Holy Spirit more room to work. This takes some of our expectation off of the year & allows us to leave it completely in the Lords hands. The next reason goes right along with that. Without a set

in stone route, we are able to go to the country with the most pressing practical needs & help out! Overall it just allows us racers to leave the adventure & plan up to the Lord, which is never a bad idea!

We as a team will know the next destination about 30 days in advance. This will give us plenty of time to pray over our next location, while also being completely present where we are!

Here is our route:

South America

Ecuador is out HUB country, and then Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chili, and Brazil will be some of the countries we may have the opportunity to serve in.

South Asia

As far as I am aware, Nepal is the place we will be ministering in here!

Southern Africa

Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland) is our HUB country, and then South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and Zambia will be some of the countries we may have the opportunity to serve in.

East Africa

Ethiopia is our HUB country, and then Rwanda & Uganda will be some of the countries we may have the opportunity to serve in.

As I write that all out, I can hardly believe this is MY story. This is the adventure the Lord is sending me on & I can’t wait!!

“What are you doing on the mission field?”

This answer will very from country to country. Our goal on the World Race is to come in, build relationships, fill needs & spread the gospel. As I look at the life of Jesus, I don’t see Him walking in and commanding people into place. Instead, more often than not He is sitting and having a conversation, filling a practical need, or just showing His fierce love. This is what draws people to Christ, but for everyone & every people group this looks different.

While I down know fully what this will look like, here are some of the ministries we will be partnering alongside. We will be serving special needs adult & children, hosting feeding centers, going on prayer walks, lots of children ministries & bible schools, agricultural development, helping trafficked woman, loving on orphans, and much more I’m sure!

I feel so blessed to be able to come along side people in a time of need. This truly is a picture of Christs life!

“What about Covid?”

This is a pressing question, and for good reason. This is definitely a unique time to plan a trip, as well as for the church. But that brings its own excitement and adventure!

Yes, we will be able to launch guaranteed! In fact, there is already a team launched as we speak. Adventures in Missions is doing their best to keep us and the people we are coming in contact with safe. But we are not about to let the moving of the gospel come to a stop!

THANK YOU ALL

I want to thank you all so much for the support & prayers! I am so excited & humbled to be a part of the Lord’s plan. I can’t wait to watch this journey unfold & I am so blessed to have you along for the ride! I will try my hardest to update more often, but until next time, be blessed!
