Hey friends, as I’ve been praying this month, I’ve been asking the Lord how you guys from home can be involved in more tangible ways. When I asked you to become a partner with me, my heart was never to just have a bunch of financial sponsors, but I truly want you all to take part in this journey. Clearly you are not all on the race, & can’t be, but that’s okay because you can still play a part! Each month I’m planning to put out a post on specific ways you can take part. Sometimes that will be prayer requests, & other times it may be asking for specific needs to be filled. But I want to encourage you to press in & take part, even if you are across the world!

This month we are going to focus on prayer. Below I am going to give some specific prayer requests from my time in Costa Rica. These are all things I pray over daily, & would love it if you would join me! This is a huge act of kingdom work that can take place from anywhere, at anytime! Wow, thanks God! So please write them on a note & stick it to your mirror, set a reminder in your phone, or even find a friend to pray with.

1.) The Farm– For those of you who haven’t read my last blog, my team & I served on a farm in the middle of the jungle. This farm served many purposes in the community such as a drug rehabilitation/mentorship center, a source of income for our host, a gathering at times for the community, & an eventual missions school. There are big dream & visions that lay within the farm, & so much kingdom building is taking place & will continue no doubt! It truly is a light in the community & a beckon of hope! I have been covering the goals  & current projects on the farm in prayer, as well as the people who come to serve & be served!

2.) A Spirit of Abandonment– This was the first thing I noticed when we stepped foot into Costa Rica, though I didn’t actually know it at the time. The very first night we were in Costa Rica the Lord told me that I was struggling with a spirit of abandonment, little did I know that this was a country wide struggle that the Lord was going to so gently walk me through. The amount of fatherless homes, mothers left to figure life out alone, & brokenness honestly breaks my heart. When you think of Costa Rica, I bet you think about the stunning beaches & jungles…that was me too. But, Abba began to show me very quickly that the outward beauty of this country is hiding so many broken hearts, the hearts of his children. While it was so beautiful to walk through healing with the Father, as a mirror of the healing he wants them to have, it honestly broke my heart to leave. So healing over this spirit of abandonment has been my plea this month. He has been incredibly kind to remind me that he desires there healing & wholeness even more than I do, & that thought has fanned the flame of my prayers.

3.) Rest– This is where we are going to end, but please pray for rest over our hosts in Costa Rica. The have made their lives ministries & it is so beautiful to watch, but that is often a tiring & thankless job. So please pray that they would learn to sit in the green pastures  that the trinity calls us into, & working from a place of rest.( I’m learning this right now, & its a doozie at times!) Also that the Lord would continually send people onto the farm to fill them both up & love them well!

I could go on, but this seems like a good place to start. Wow, this is your kingdom family as well & I can’t wait for you to meet them one day! Costa Rica was one of the most incredible places & will always & forever be in my heart!  Thank you guys so much for your partnership & support, it truly means the world to me! Just for a little update, we are getting ready to leave Nicaragua in a week, so this is going to be my last Costa Rica blog post! We have been in Nicaragua for about three weeks now, and our next stop is Columbia! Thats all I’m going to give you for now, so stay tuned!

Love you all lots!
